Letter from the Deputy Minister 

New Recreation Board

The Town of Granum is looking for volunteer members to sit on a newly formed Recreation Board.
ByLaw 2018-02 was formed by council for the operation of a local area and district recreation board to
be known as the Granum and District Recreation Board.

This by-law is attached for review. An application form is also attached and we ask that you complete
one and forward to the town Office at Box 88, Granum, drop it off a the office at 304 Railway Avenue,
or email it to: The Town is looking at revitalizing recreation within the Town of
Granum and this Board will be fundamental to assessing the recreation needs of the Granum and
District Community.

Should you require more information please contact the Town Office and we will be happy to try and
answer your questions. Council is looking forward to having this Board up and running and serving our
community, and hope you will give the position as a board member your consideration.
