Public Works can be contacted at the Town Shop at 403-687-3077 for any matter that requires their attention. This includes streets, sidewalks, water issues, recycling trailer. If there is no reply please leave a message, voicemail is monitored regularly.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PUBLIC WORKS FOREMAN

Reports to the Municipal Administrator,

Supervises a full time employee and a casual labourer

Also responsible for the following:

•Operation and Maintenance of the Town Water System and Treatment Plant.

•Sewage Treatment and Disposal System as well as Garbage Collection.

•Maintenance of Town Streets, Property and Equipment.

•Minimum Class 5 Operator's License with Q endorsement.

The Town Foreman is required to live in the Town of Granum.
